If you have stability or
shelf-life concerns, you've come to the right place.
CliniSense produces (and licenses) an entirely new type
of stability monitoring technology -- a low-cost programmable electronic
time-temperature indicator. What this formidable title means is that this
small, match-book-sized device can be programmed with a detailed mathematical
model of your material's time-temperature stability characteristics. The LifeTrack
unit then stays with your material throughout its storage life, and continually
computes if the material's time-temperature storage history has been acceptable.
LifeTrack: a stability "fuel gauge" that
shows remaining lifetime.
Although CliniSense is primarily an IP and licensing company,
in order to introduce the concept, we sell the LifeTrack®
demonstrator unit. This allows interested users to quickly begin
experimenting with our technology, and evaluate its suitability for their
applications. If you find it meets your needs, we can then work with you
to optimize the unit for your particular application, and either license the
technology, or alternatively continue to act as your OEM.
How much does the LifeTrack cost? This is very
volume dependent. The unit itself is based on a microprocessor that costs
about a dollar. We estimate that at very high volumes, this type of unit
can be produced for about $3-$5.00 each.

Degree Day applications:
This technology can also be used to produce
sophisticated degree-day monitors for agricultural and pest-control
applications.
